  • Security vulnerability remediation, sustainment, and feature enhancement (eg. PowerBI integration, security-related components, etc) of a health assessment portal used by an existing user base of 20+ million. 5 years.
  • Front end for a customer relationship management (CRM) product. Innovative Javascript-based window platform within a single web browser window. Supported drag-and-drop between iFrame windows. 2 years.
  • Software bug-tracking extension portal with user management and custom graphs and charts.
  • Project management portal that consolidated and tracked files from multiple sources (APIs, file systems) and showed them on one page.
  • Tools for updating legacy metadata in 20+ million user accounts.

IoT and Embedded Software and Hardware Development

  • Two VoIp signaling protocol stacks (MGCP and Pri Backhaul) and their integration into two carrier-class gateway products. 5 years.
  • Firmware for an E1/T1 line card used in a carrier-class VoIp solution.
  • Creating a scripting language that used channel associated signaling (CAS) to interface with domestic and foreign private branch exchanges (PBX).
  • VoIp data streaming (RTP, RTCP) stack integration into a line card.
  • Firmware for the first DSL modems in the industry. 2 years.
  • Media streaming middleware used by consumer electronics. 2 years.
  • Scripting for white-box testing of flight control software of three military aircraft.
  • Component-level electronics repair of professional and consumer AV equipment. 4 years.
  • Component-level hardware design, DSP math, and software design and implementation of an audio digitizer.

Max holds three decades of industry experience in software engineering and systems deployment leading the architecture and implementation of enterprise Web applications and carrier-class networking and telecommunications equipment. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
